So what is Iris Folding?

Iris folding is a bit like painting by numbers but using folded paper strips instead of paint!

"It's so easy - I learnt to do it when I was seven years old!"

Sharing the joy of pretty papers

There's a kind of playful mindfulness that happens when you pay attention to how colors and patterns stir your emotions. As you spend time on paper cutting and folding to make beautiful greeting cards and gifts, you experience an inner joy. And you can pass on that joy to others by giving away what you have lovingly made!

Meet the maker

Hey fellow crafter, I'm Bethan and I'm passionate about being creative and having a positive impact on others through craft. I aim to do this by teaching the art of iris folding and I hope the resources and ideas on this site inspire you to explore iris folding and enjoy creating with pretty papers.

I made several of these for my own use and bought an add-on pack for my classes. They disappeared very quickly and the ladies declared themselves very happy with the results. Xx

ADD-ON PACK EXTENSION for Craft for Cats Iris Folding Card Kit - Traditional Christmas Edition
Excellent add on pack

I really enjoyed making the Craft for Cats Iris folding Christmas cards & thought I'd use up the remaining paper by ordering add on kits. Such a good idea to sell these & the quality of the paper & cardboard is excellent. After watching the video I found it easy to get the hang of iris folding & I like the fact that you can just make up your own colour combinations, it could get addictive! Thank you
